I've been using my favourite colours again!

I'm staring to build up stock for my Etsy shop and for my first event of the year at the start of April.
I will be at The Morningside Makers Market in Edinburgh on Saturday April 5th so here is a sneaky peek at some of my new makes.

The scarf and shrug are my own but you can see how my brooches can be used to keep knitwear fastened at the front.
These new brooches are made using hand dyed merino and silk fibres with some angelina for added sparkle. The wing on the bird and leaves on the leaf design are made with a mixture of fabrics and an iridescent top layer that really catches the light.

Brooches £12

Also new this week are these felt heart pendants and earrings.

Pendants £20
Earrings £18

I've added some new textile heart pendants to my Etsy shop as well.

I have made these pendants below in a slightly different way from the one above.
By hand painting the fabrics and heat fusing them I have achieved more texture and vibrancy.

All the pendants come gift boxed at £22 each.

Carrying on the shimmery shiny theme, I made this little seascape as well. I used to make a lot of pictures in this style but hadn't made one for ages! Making the sea is my favourite part.

It's difficult to photograph this in a way that shows off the reflective quality of the fabrics used. There are tiny sparkles in the sky for stars and the moon is made with shining silver material.
