The Handmade Show and The Winter Makers Market

Following a successful fair at Pitcairngreen on Saturday, I am now looking forward to
The Handmade Show next Sunday at Perth Concert Hall!
Sunday 3rd November
10.30 - 4.30 pm

I will have my full range of items with me including new pictures, textile Trinket Boxes, new Rings, lots of Textile Jewellery and plenty of Sheep Jewellery as well.

The boxes are as popular as ever so I am trying to get as many made as possible.

I also have new cards just in.
I still have the original felt pictures of these two as well and will make them available online next week if I still have them after the show.

After The Handmade Show I have a break from my big fairs but will have a stall at
The Royal Hotel, Dunkeld on Saturday 23rd November, 1 - 4 pm.
My Mum will also have a stall selling her beautiful bags and cushions.

Then your last chance to see my work up close will be at
The Winter Makers Market,
The Steeple,
Newburgh
on Saturday 7th December, 10 - 4pm

So another busy month ahead. Lots to be made as well as commission pieces to finish.

There are still lots of things for sale in my Etsy shop and I will be adding stock after The Handmade Show. If there is anything you are particularly looking for or waiting for me to make more of then please let me know.

Pitcairngreen Village Hall Craft Fair and The Handmade Show

After a good and busy day on Saturday at Falkland Craft Market I am now getting ready to attend Pitcairngreen Village Hall Craft Fair on Saturday October 26th and The Handmade Show on Sunday November 3rd.

The fair at Pitcairngreen is from 10 - 3 pm. This is a lovely event and one that I have had a stall at for about the last ten years. It is always very busy so come early and enjoy the wide variety of exhibitors plus lots of tea, coffee and home baking!
The village is situated just outside Perth, up the hill from Almondbank.

10.30 - 4.30 pm

The Handmade Show is in it's third year and is gearing up to be the best year yet!
Lots of fabulous makers of beautiful things will be there. Perth Concert Hall is such a lovely venue as well.

This is how my stall looked on Saturday. I was delighted with the extra long table and also took along my own small table and shelf unit to add more space and height.
I had a bit of a run on Calendars and now have less than 30 left in stock. They are still available to buy online here. Etsy now has various payment options and Direct Checkout making the site even easier to use.

I have a lot of things to make in readiness for both events so it's back into the work space for the next two weeks.

Thank you very much to all of you who follow my blog and came along to the fair on Saturday. Hope to see you again soon.

October Events

How did October sneak up on us so fast?
I have two fairs this month so I'm busy making as usual.

The fair at Birnam Hotel last weekend went well and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Met lots of lovely people both customers and other makers. I also sold a lot so I'm trying to make lots more for my next fair on Saturday 12th.

Falkland Craft Market is a lovely event. I was at the one in April and it was just great. Lots of tea and cake as well!

Last week I purchased some beautiful ceramic bead charms from Bo Hulley Beads to use on my Textile Trinket Boxes. Aren't the little acorns cute!

I have used an acorn on this box below which has sold already but I'll have more next week.

I have used a leaf charm on this one below which is still available here

The boxes are priced at £25 for a 5 cm cube, £30 for  7 cm cube. £35 for a 10 cm square/6cm deep box and £45 for a 14 cm square/6cm deep box. £55 for special commissions depending on how much detail is in the lid design.

I have also been busy making lots of new textile pendants and earrings.

The earrings are £15 and £18. I use handmade solid silver ear wires on some of my earrings and ordinary sterling silver wires on the rest.

New this week is this textile and resin ring.
I absolutely love these! The ring base is silver plated but very solid and although it looks big, it is comfortable to wear.
More colours coming soon including purple, turquoise and green.

Ring £18 available here

Also new this week are these Ivy Leaf Brooches. Great for keeping cardigans closed or for use as a shawl pin. All the Autumn shades have sold already but I'll try and get some more made for Saturday.

Brooches £12 available here

I will also have my 2014 Calendar with me at the fairs. They have been very well received and have been sent all over the world via my Etsy shop. Etsy now has direct checkout making it even easier to use. Payment can be made by Credit Card or Bank Transfer not just Paypal.

Calendar £10
available here

My next Fair after Falkland will be at Pitcairngreen Village Hall on Saturday 26th October. Pitcairngreen is a village just north of Perth near Almondbank. This is a very busy fair again with lots of tea and cake!

Hope to see some of you over the next few weeks. If you can't get along but are interested in anything you see here, please feel free to contact me at aileenclarkecrafts@yahoo.com.

I'm away now to make more things!
